iPhone 6 Black

Our iPhone 6 release date, features, price and concepts update is

The iPhone 6 is set to be 2014’s iPhone launch and although little is known about this high-specced handset, it’s thought the device will feature a high-resolution 6-inch Retina display.
We think a 6-inch screen may be a little ambitious, so are happier to believe rumours that the iPhone 6 will take an incremental boost with a 4.8-inch screen.
The iPhone 6 will be the seventh smartphone Apple has released, with the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C both set to launch on September 10 this year.
The iPhone 5S is set to be similar to the iPhone 5, with new colours (slate and black, graphite and black, white and silver, white and champagne), with the Apple A7 processor.
The iPhone 5C as a contrast, will be a lower-cost option with a plastic shell and a spec sheet very similar to that of the iPhone 5C.
Both the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C will be the first devices to launch running iOS 7.
So let’s take a look at the iPhone 6 speculated specs in detail.

iPhone 6 Specifications

As we mentioned before, the screen has been subject to a lot of discussion. Some think Apple needs to take the jump into phablet territory (Galaxy Note, Xperia Z Ultra to name two) and although this is a distinct possibility, such screens will take a lot to power and as such, Apple will need to boost the battery and processor.
Talking about battery life, it’s thought the iPhone 6 will feature a bigger battery than the 1,440mAh power pack the iPhone 5 included. Apple may boost this to 2,000mAh, but that will no doubt the chassis a little larger.
The iPhone 6 will launch on iOS 7 unless Apple announces a surprise iOS 8 update before then. It’s more likely the company will launch the iPhone 6 with an incremental update (say, iOS 7.2) – after all, iOS 7 is a substantial enough overhaul to prevent Apple launching a brand new OS.
The iPhone 6 will probably launch with Apple’s own A7 processor – said to be dual core. There’s no word on what the processor will be clocked at though.
In terms of multimedia, we can expect a camera of at least 8-megapixels (probably 13-megapixels) with a dual LED flash.
The iPhone 6 will launch in a number of different storage capacities, although rumour has it the company will scrap the 16GB version and offer the device with 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities.

iPhone 6 Price

We expect the Phone 6 to be the top-level iPhone and as such, it will probably have a flagship price. The iPhone 5 is available from £529 for the 16GB version, £599 for 32GB and £699 for 64GB. If Apple were to up the screen size and storage, we would expect these prices to be upped to

iPhone 6 Release date

The iPhone 5S is due to launch at some point in 2014, probably alongside the much-rumoured iWatch. It’s thought the device will be released in the first half of the year, but there’s no word on exactly when that will be as yet.

iPhone 6 Will Work on LTE Networks

News has come about that the iPhone 6 will work on all 4G LTE networks, rather than different variations launching in different markets.
Currently, the iPhone 5 only works on EE 4G, but will not work on Vodafone or O2's networks when they go live on August 29.
The news comes via Gotta Be Mobile, who says the device will use Intel's XMM 7160 modem and baseband chips, supporting up to 15 different LTE bands.
Most other chips only support around 8 bands, meaning manufacturers have to put different processors in different devices for markets around the world.

iOS 7

The iOS 7 release date is getting closer, but what does the update include and when will you get it on your iPad and iPhone?

The official release date for iOS 7 is fast approaching. In just under two weeks Apple will launch the iPhone 5S and begin the rollout of iOS 7 to millions of iPhones, iPods and iPads all over the world.
Make no mistake iOS 7 is a big deal, and not just for iPhone and iPad aficionados. It also looks to be a watershed moment for Apple, too. Tim Cook described iOS 7 at launch as ‘the biggest update to iOS since the introduction of the iPhone.’
And when you have millions-upon-millions of satisfied customers, switching a winning formula is always risky. The dramatic changes inside iOS 7 could alienate people by making the platform too complicated to use. And while this might sound overtly dramatic – some people really did love the old iOS.
Apple’s Senior VP of Industrial Design, Sir Jony Ive, was drafted in to oversee the development, design and evolution of Apple’s iOS 7 platform. But not everybody was impressed by what the Knighted designer brought to the table – big changes always create big reactions.
KYM’s Paul Briden described it as a cross between The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Gasper Goe’s Enter The Void – and not in a good way either. The final build of iOS 7, however, will likely be quite a bit different from what we saw debuted at WWDC 2013 – it’s now been through six beta versions.
Apple is set to begin the rollout of iOS 7 to its existing line of iOS-powered devices following the launch of the iPhone 5S (and, potentially, the iPhone 5C) on September 10. The new-look OS will also power Apple’s upcoming next-gen iPad and iPad Mini slates, too.
We’ve been collating everything related to iOS 7 inside this hub since its launch at WWDC 2013. Below is pretty much everything you need to know about iOS 7 ahead of its September 10 release date, including guest op-ed pieces, an overview of all the new features, and a review of iOS 7 beta 1.

iOS PUblicly Tells that to release on September 10

iOS 7 will start rolling out to devices on September 10, according to an email sent to developers.
Developer Owen Williams received an email from Apple saying the update would be arriving on consumer's iPad, iPhones and iPods on September 10, as previously rumoured.

iOS Design

Despite various Apple presenters highlighting the fragmentation and inferiority of Android, the new OS does share some similarities in terms of aesthetics with both the Google platform and that of its other (not so big) rival, Windows Phone. That means that gone are the leather and felt-like panels and a slicker, less 'busy' design is evident across the entire interface.
Elsewhere you'll find a new font in place on the lockscreen and a very HTC-inspired weather/time widget. Jony Ive commented in his video voice-over that the iOS redesign brings 'true simplicity' to proceedings and having seen the new 'cleaner' icons we can say that the new platform does embody this.
The whole 'flatness' thing that has been talked about so much in the build up is present and correct, but that's not to say that the OS is without any kind of pizzazz - transitions and effects are minmalist but stunning as a 3D effect prevails and images move through different planes.
Ive says that the new iOS 'adds news depths and layers' as well as 'the parallax' effect and the onscreen demo certainly illustrated this - the mail app and its offering of full-screen images being a particluar example of this added depth both in terms of aesthetics and functionality

iOS Functionality

Speaking of functionality, another Android-esque feature comes in the form of the new Notifications Centre which is now accessible from the lockscreen for the first time. In here you'll find all the standard communcations in a slightly refreshed interface.
The big changes, however, come within Safari as there's now a unified search field as well as the introduction of Tabs. The latter means that an unlimited number of tabs can be opened and they'll be synced across all your iDevices, showcasing their resplendent design elements while they're at it. There's also the introduction of gesture controls, which allows one-tap access to all your serach fields. Parental controls and iCloud Keychain integration have also been bundled-in.
Google search suggestions and shared links from Twitter followers will also be served and Safari now facilitates continuous scrolling from article to article without coming back to the list within Tabs.

iOS Multitasking

Multitasking has also been subject to an overhaul and the whole shebang has now been made sleeker with a double-tap being all that is required to access all that is open and a few deft swipes deployed to navigate to what you're looking for. Again, very Android, but again, appropraited in a way that only Apple can.
When it comes to apps, they'll now also now automatically update in the background putting an end to the annoyance of seeing a small red circle with double figures in it each time you open the app drawer.
Whether this can be turned off in settings wasn't explicitly stated and we'd imagine that if the facility to opt-out isn't proffered, many could be perturbed by what could be viewed as yet more control-freakery from Apple.

iOS Notifications

We've already covered the new Notifications Centre but the streamlining doesn't stop there as Notification Sync means that users no longer have close down notifications across all their iDevices.

Iphone 5S Release date Leaked and May Land on September 20

Apple support staff banned from taking holidays between September 15 and 28 in order to cope with iPhone 5S release

A leaked document obtained by an online tech blog has revealed that Apple’s support staff have been banned from taking holidays between September 15 and 28, giving us our first real glimpse of when the iPhone 5S will be available in stores.
‘Between the debut of new iPhones and the launch of a different-looking operating system in iOS 7, AppleCare telephone support will likely have their hands full. As such, Apple has restricted employee time off for a two-week span covering not only the expected launch, but a full week after,’ claims Apple Insider.
Apple is expected to launch iOS 7, the iPhone 5S and (potentially) the iPhone 5C on September 10 at an event in San Francisco. Apple has yet to send out invites, but this date is generally seen by the industry as pretty much on the money.
A variety of sources have confirmed that many US networks have also initiated a holiday ban in order to cope with the onslaught of the iPhone 5S’ release in the US.
T-Mobile and AT&T are both said to have put a freeze on holiday allowance beginning on September 18 – two days ahead of the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C’s global release.
‘There has been a lot of evidence to suggest that Apple plans to release both the iPhone 5S and the lower-cost iPhone 5C on September 20th,’ reports BGR, ‘including an exclusive report on AT&T blacking out vacation days for employees on September 20th.’
The iPhone 5S is expected to feature a fingerprint scanner, faster A7 CPU, a vastly improved camera, and potentially larger internal storage capabilities. Design-wise, the handset is believed to closely resemble the iPhone 5 making the device more of an incremental update a la iPhone 4S than a full-scale overhaul.
Core iOS applications like Siri, PhotosCameraWeatherSafari, and the multitasking hub have been given complete make-overs inside iOS 7 and could cause some iPhone and iPad users problems, hence Apple's insistance on keeping its support on call 24/7 during the period.
Interestingly, many leading publications and sources believe Apple will also debut the oft-leaked iPhone 5C on September 10, which is said to be targeted at emerging and pre-pay markets. Both handsets will reportedly be released at the same time – around September 20.
Should Apple launch both handsets it would be the first time in the company’s history that it has launched two smartphones side-by-side at one event. It'd also be the first time Apple has produced a non-premium smartphone
Many analysts and tech-pundits (ourselves included) believe the iPhone 5C has been created to target China – the world’s biggest smartphone market. Apple CEO Tim Cook has visited the country many times during 2013 and is said to be keen on developing partnerships with some of the country’s biggest networks.
A deal with China Mobile – the largest of all – could be a huge boon for Apple and generate as much as a 10 percent uplift in iPhone sales during 2014, according to our checks with Strategy Analytics.
Excited yet?
